Planet
From chemical-free cleaning to reaching net zero, we are working to protect our planet and preserve its natural resources now and for future generations.
Decarbonising our operations
According to the UKGBC, the built environment is responsible for almost 40% of worldwide carbon emissions. As a key part of the value chain, we’re stepping up to the climate challenge and reducing our carbon impact. Our commitments include:
- Working towards net zero by 2040
- Renewable energy procurement in all owned offices by 2030
- Operate a fully electric vehicle fleet by 2025
- Consolidating cleaning materials transport to client sites to maximise loads and minimise journeys
- Working with our supply partners to encourage the purchase of renewable energy and carbon reduction initiatives
- Continue to maintain our ISO 50001 accreditation in line with our Environmental Management System
Green Cleaning
As our customers pursue ambitious net zero goals, we’re committed to supporting them by embedding sustainable practices across our services. Through data-driven, on-demand cleaning, we optimise energy use at client sites, reducing waste with targeted cleaning schedules. Our approach includes using chemical-free products, selecting materials prioritising recyclability and reusability, and promoting resource efficiency in line with a circular economy. We minimise virgin plastic use and provide uniforms made from recycled materials. Accredited to ISO 14001 and 50001 standards, our Energy and Environmental Management System guides us in delivering impactful, responsible services.
“As we are dedicated to consistently providing a positive and inclusive experience for all occupiers without compromising our sustainability goals, having Andron come onboard is a huge boost. Their facilities management expertise will aid in keeping Birchwood Park on track to achieve our ambition of becoming Net Zero in all our managed areas and buildings by 2030.”

Protecting natural resources and boosting biodiversity
Across both our offices and customer sites, we are committed to solutions that reduce, reuse, and recycle waste. By partnering with our suppliers, we aim to achieve zero waste to landfill and maximise recycling rates. We also focus on reusing and repurposing materials and equipment wherever possible, and we collaborate with suppliers to minimise and use eco-friendly packaging. In our efforts to boost biodiversity, we work with customers to create natural habitats in green spaces, installing beehives, bug hotels, and wildflower beds that provide refuge for wildlife and enhance local ecosystems.
