Andron has pledged to transfer Apprenticeship Levy funds to Reskilling the Recovery, a campaign to direct unspent apprenticeship levy funds to support London’s small businesses.
The campaign was launched in June 2020 by The London Progression Collaboration (LPC) and has so far secured pledges of over £3.5m in unspent apprenticeship levy funds. These funds are already supporting the capital’s small businesses to create new apprenticeships. Every levy transfer is helping a small business to access the skills and training they need right now and every apprenticeship created is a new opportunity for a Londoner to build their skills and progress in work.
All businesses across London remain affected by Covid-19, with SMEs amongst the worst hit by the crisis. SMEs are a vital part of London’s business ecosystem, so ensuring they can access the skills and training they need to survive the immediate challenges and thrive in recovery is vital. By pledging unspent apprenticeship levy funds to Reskilling the Recovery, we are helping to cover the costs of apprenticeship training for SMEs, enabling them to take on and train new staff or upskill existing team members for the challenge ahead.
