Andron is delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist in the IWFM Impact Awards 2021 – Social Value category – for their Inclusive Futures employability programme.
The IWFM Impact Awards celebrate and showcase outstanding best practices in the workplace and facilities management industry, and recognise companies for their achievements in areas such as Sustainability, social value, wellbeing and productivity. The Social Value category, for which Andron’s employability programme, Inclusive Futures, has been shortlisted, celebrates the very best and most impactful initiatives which have made a significant contribution to wider society.
About Inclusive Futures
Established in early 2020, Inclusive Futures is designed to provide transformative employment opportunities to individuals from disadvantaged and marginalised backgrounds. So far, with support from key charities such as Social Bite, Radical Recruit and The Recruitment Junction, the programme has supported 6 individuals into full-time, sustained employment. Furthermore, the programme also helps to support disadvantaged young people through employability workshops, to help them develop their skills and careers.
Cheryl Stewart, Board Director commented:
“Reaching the finals is a very proud moment for all of us at Andron. As a family company built on strong values, we are always on the lookout for ways in which we can give back to our people and communities. Employment can be incredibly transformative, and Inclusive Futures gives us the opportunity to really make a difference to people’s lives. We are exceptionally proud of the work we have done so far and we look forward to building upon its impact, with the aim of vastly increasing the number of opportunities for supported employment and helping those that truly need it.”
The 2021 Awards Ceremony will take place on 11 October 2021 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.
