Andron Facilities Management is officially in the process of setting a net-zero carbon strategy.
Working with market-leading, independent sustainability consultancy, Avieco, Andron have calculated their baseline carbon footprint to cover scope 1-3 emissions, including purchased goods and services.
This will allow Andron to set a credible net-zero strategy with targets aligned to the SBTis (Science-based targets initiative); with an associated decarbonisation pathway to highlight their material impact areas and differentiated approach for reducing emissions to net-zero. Andron anticipates having this strategy in place by the end of 2021.
Andron has set an initial 2040 target date for net-zero carbon output, however, under guidance from Avieco, Andron aim to achieve this ahead of schedule if possible.
